The Wellcome Trust launched the Wellcome Collection, at 183 Euston Road. It’s one of the fastest growing and most unique cultural spaces in London. The new metal reception desk was processed using a hugely complex metal finishing process that required the completed desk to be shipped to an “industrial blast cleaning” organisation, more used to blast finishing huge containers for chemical plants. The project was carried out while the building remained fully operational and open to the public.
